2. Purposes and legal bases

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfilment, to process and deliver your purchases (performance of a contract).

  • Customer service, to answer questions and provide support (legitimate interest).

  • Payments, to process secure payments via Shopify Payments (performance of a contract).

  • Marketing communication, to send newsletters or updates (only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

  • Website improvement and analytics, to analyse site traffic and enhance user experience (legitimate interest, with cookies managed according to your consent).

  • Advertising and remarketing, using Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and show relevant ads on Meta platforms (with your consent).

3. Sharing of data

We share your data only when necessary for the purposes mentioned above:

  • Shopify Inc. hosts our online store and provides the e-commerce platform. Shopify stores your data securely in accordance with GDPR standards. For more information, visit Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

  • Shopify Payments processes your payment data securely and in compliance with payment-card industry standards (PCI DSS).

  • Service providers such as delivery and logistics partners, IT support, accountants, or marketing platforms, all bound by strict confidentiality and data-protection agreements.

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., when you consent to the use of Meta Pixel.

  • Public authorities where required by law or to defend legal claims.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.
If data is transferred outside the EEA (for example to Shopify’s or Meta’s servers in the US or Canada), such transfers occur under adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission.

4. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Order and invoice information: 7 years (as required by Belgian accounting law).

  • Customer correspondence: up to 5 years after the last contact.

  • Marketing data: until you withdraw your consent.

  • Cookies: according to their individual expiration period (see section 7).
